Enrique Flores

Artist Statement Enrique Flores gathers images from around his home:
animals, plants, men and women and flattens them on his canvas almost like a
flower press. However, as Enrique masterfully applies these once
three-dimensional shapes on to his flat surface, they take on their own life and
their own stylized form. They are not spaced methodically, but intuitively to
create beautiful and unusual compositions unique to Enrique Flores.
