Artist Statement Julian Dimitrov Jordanov lives and works in Lovech, Bulgaria. His graphic work is one of the best examples of contemporary symbolism which is so typical of current Bulgarian and Eastern European work. Jordanov’s images are heavily influenced by the aesthetic and figurative approach of both Gothic and Baroque art. His work is heavily rooted in Surrealism as well.
