Introduction to Non-toxic Etching
In this intensive four day class, students will become
acquainted with the beautiful art of copper etching which
inspired artists such as Rembrandt and Goya. We will be
working exclusively with new and safe materials. Artists
will be introduced to a variety of techniques from the
beginning to advanced level. For the final project, each
student will create an edition which will result in an
exchange portfolio. In order to explore this versatile medium
and to complete several plates, students receive unlimited
access to the workshop during hours of operation.
Class Dates: Four Sundays, November 2, 9, 16 &
23. Includes access to print shop November 4 - 23.
Class time: 9 am - 5 PM, includes lunch break
Class fee: $ 275 (plus tax). Includes
one 4.5 x 6" copper plate and some paper.

Advanced Etching - Exploring
Color
In this advanced
class, students will become acquainted with multi-plate,
viscosity and several other color printing techniques.
