Artist Statement

I am recently retired from a 30-year career in corporate Information Technology and have turned to making art to fulfill a lifetime craving for self-expression.  I have been involved with photography for over 40 years and have found photo-gravure to be the answer to my seeking a satisfying output medium.  I began my involvement with this medium by way of the introductory class taught at New Grounds in August 2009 and have been developing my technique ever since.

                                 The photographs for the works in this show were made at the April 2008 "La Fiesta de Indios" Native American rodeo at Tingley Coliseum.
